Palo Alto, USA, London, UK and Belfast, N.Ireland 4th June 2002
Simentra Ltd, a company dedicated to providing a cost effective, low risk and fast route to international sales revenues for early stage and venture capital backed high growth technology companies today launched the first of their new seminar programme, Opportunity Europe. The launch was held in conjunction with their strategic partner Hall Kinion,(NASDAQ : HAKI) to promote a unique service offering for strategy and recruitment services for North American companies aspiring to enter the European marketplace.
The seminar was launched officially on June 4th 2002 in San Francisco in the British Consul General's residence, an event co sponsored by Invest UK, the government agency responsible for encouraging inward investment initiatives from the Bay Area. A select guest list of technology companies who had expressed interest in expanding to Europe attended to hear more about the unique service that simentra and Hall Kinion provide.
"The event was oversubscribed and attracted key decision makers in some the fastest emerging technology companies here in the Bay Area. The event proved to be an excellent way in which to communicate the benefits of utilising the combined services of our partnership with Hall Kinion. It demonstrated our approach to defining the market opportunity first and then sourcing the appropriate talent to execute new sales revenues in the European market," commented Gareth White, a founder of Simentra.
The guest speaker at the event was Fred Hoar, a founder of the Silicon Valley Band of Angels and Executive Professor of Marketing at Santa Clara University. In 1999, he was named one of the "Top 100 Most Influential PR People of the 20th Century" by the authoritative magazine, PRWEEK. Hoar was encouraged by the reception and the understanding that the audience had portrayed about conducting business on a global scale in a modern technology business.
"I was overawed with the way in which new companies are accepting that conducting business on a global scale requires specialist knowledge of international markets. The planning process that the Simentra and Hall Kinion partnership offers was incredibly well received and proves the interest that North American technology companies have for expanding sales into Europe. They all recognised the value of utilising the expertise of Simentra and Hall Kinion to alleviate the risk of international expansion."
The seminar is the first in a range of initiatives that the Simentra and Hall Kinion partnership hope to launch in 2002 with the aim of further endorsing the collective ability to minimise the risk of new market entry to Europe.
