Simentra appoints USA VP Business Development to expand operations

Simentra expand their operations to the USA by establishing an office in Palo Alto,California and appoint VP Business Development

Simentra ltd, a company dedicated to providing a lower risk new market entry service for high tech start-ups, early stage technology companies and venture capital firms portfolio companies today announced the appointment of Ivor Evans as their VP Business Development for their North American Sales office in Palo Alto, California.

Evans brings with him extensive experience in marketing the benefits of international expansion to Europe having spent the last 7 years working for Invest Northern Ireland in San Jose, California. During his tenure Evans was instrumental in securing new international business investment into Europe, housing their operations in N.Ireland from US companies including Pivotal Software, Avalanche Technology, Webforia and Triverix, formally CMA.

Simentra inc. was established recently as the company's USA operation to generate new business from west coast North American technology companies looking to accelerate their growth to Europe. The company offer the Charter Series, a three phase process to market that minimises the financial risk of international expansion and is combined with a range of services from the Simentra global partner network.

"This is a major opportunity for me to utilise my experience in Silicon Valley in the last 7 years and provide a real value added service to the companies who are considering international expansion," commented Evans. Simentra have recently added to their Charter Series program by launching the Portfolio Appraisal Track, which is a select view of early stage, high growth companies to assess their current market position and accelerate the growth to revenue. The company have also announced plans to open a location in Sydney, Australia to serve companies in the Asia Pacific region and support their existing clients who intend to consider a market opportunity there.
