First in a series of seminars with partner Hall Kinion focused on market entry strategies and international business services
Belfats and London, UK, Palo Alto, USA 16th April 2002
Simentra ltd, a company dedicated to providing a lower risk new market entry service for high tech start-ups, early stage technology companies and venture capital backed high growth companies today announced the launch of a new seminar program, Opportunity Europe™. Produced with strategic partner Hall Kinion,(NASDAQ : HAKI) this innovative series promotes a unique offering for strategy and recruitment services for North American companies aspiring to enter the European marketplace. The ongoing series will focus on the tactical program elements and benefits of strategic investment and new market entry for North American technology companies expanding into the European marketplace.
The seminars will launch officially on June 4th 2002 in San Francisco, California. The first event will be held in the British Consul's residence and is co-sponsored by Invest UK, the government agency responsible for encouraging inward investment initiatives from the Bay Area. A select list of companies who are or have expressed interest in expanding to Europe will attend to hear more about the unique business services that Simentra and Hall Kinion provide.
"We felt this to be the most appropriate way our strategic partnership could officially launch a program encouraging and promoting our unique vision as a business services and consulting portal for high tech entrepreneurs in the US seeking market entry into the UK," noted Glenn Hardy, a founder of Simentra. "The format will hopefully be very successful and it is our collective intention to roll the program out across the USA throughout the year," commented Laila Kaiser, Marketing Director at Hall Kinion. About Opportunity Europe™
One of the most exciting aspects of the initial program will be the participation of Fred Hoar, a founder of the Silicon Valley Band of Angels and Executive Professor of Marketing at Santa Clara University as a guest speaker at the June 4th venue in San Francisco. During the past four decades, Mr. Hoar has shaped marketing and communications strategies for some of America's seminal technology and consumer companies, from Apple, to Fairchild, to RCA. In 1999, he was named one of the "Top 100 Most Influential PR People of the 20th Century" by PRWEEK.
Gareth White, one of the founders of Simentra commented that the first event was already proving to be an attractive draw for a number of North American firms. "We've gotten an amazing response to the initial event based not only on interest in the speaker and the venue, but in the value our service and partnership with Hall Kinion offers. Together, we're bringing a unique and attractive proposition for any North American technology company willing to pursue the ambition of growing sales revenues from the European market."
The seminar is the first in a range of initiatives that the Simentra and Hall Kinion partnership will launch in 2002 with the aim of further endorsing the collective ability to define the market and source the talent - minimising the risk of new market entry to Europe.
