Fred Hoar inducted to Silicon Valley Junior Achievement Hall of Fame

Junior Achievement of Silicon Valley and Monterey Bay induct 5 of Silicon Valleys most distinguished leaders at the 17th Business Hall of Fame ceremony in the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, California.

This 17th Annual event kicks off the yearlong 50th Anniversary celebration for Junior Achievement of Silicon Valley & Monterey Bay. In addition to highlighting the wonderful contributions of the five Laureates the event showcased many current JA students who were benefiting from the programs. The announcement was made at a prestigious gathering and awards ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, April 8th 2003.

In addition to his work with Simentra, Hoar is the Deans Executive Vice President of Marketing at Santa Clara University, California and the induction of the Laureates in the 50th Anniversary year included Steve Scott, Managing Partner of Oakland Athletics Baseball;Edward Panelli, Former Justice of the Supreme Court of California;Glenn McLaughlin, CEO Venture Leasing Association and Director Greater America Bancorp and Lata Krishnan, founder of the America India Foundation.

The 2003 Hall of Fame Planning Committee, Chaired by 2002 Laureate Joe Parisi of Therma Corporation, consists of several other Laureates and prominent business and community leaders: Greg Belanger - Executive Vice President, Comerica Bank; Maryles Casto - CEO, Casto Travel; John DuBois - The DuBois Group; Mike Fox, Sr. - Founder M.E.
