Simentra attend inaugural European Homeland Security conference

The continued development of international interest in Homeland Security resulted in WBR Research holding the inaugural European Homeland Security conference in Brussels in Jne 2005 and Simentra were engaged in a major research assignment for both USA and UK clients as part of their invovlement.

In June this year, over 150 homeland security experts gathered in the Radisson SAS Hotel in Brussels to attend the inaugural Homeland Security Europe conference.

Drawing together the people and agencies who detect, protect and respond to threats, the conference focussed upon developing inter-agency interoperability in order to create more effective threat response mechanisms.

Delegates at Homeland Security Europe experienced an information packed 3 days of timely and cutting edge case studies, delivered by leading figures from pan-national agencies such as the EU and NATO; and national experts from the military, police, resilience, crisis response, border security and intelligence services.

Simentra were directly assigned on new sales opportunities in the interoperability market due to recent developments in UK emergency planning legislation and the need for greater inter agency collaboration in the threat of continued terror attacks.
