UK Technologies for Security mission to USA includes Simentra

Simentra have recently been appointed as one of a select group of UK businesses who will participate in a UKTI government mission to Boston and Washington in late October 2006. This mission further endorses the work between the two nations to foster innovation in the security sector.

Simentra Ltd, a specialist company providing professional and technical services for government and international business risk announced that they have been selected to support the UKTI trade mission to the USA as part of the UK USA Security symposium.

This week long mission will include 23 companies from the UK, is part of the continued Agreement between the Government of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of the United States of America on Co-operation in Science and Technology for Critical Infrastructure Protection and other Homeland/Civil Security Matters.

The development opportunity will promote the participating companies to potential suppliers, government agencies and commercial partners to exploit the potential to collaborate on business on international security initiatives.

Simentra have direct experience of this sector having already brokered California based technology solutions into government sector in the UK in direct response to requirements for inter agency collaboration in the UK under the Civil Contingencies Act.

The mission will further enhance the Simentra team and their innovative Charter Series which includes tools for risk assessment, intelligence fusion and security training.
