Simentra to shape UK regional development agency international gaming proposition

Simentra have recently been appointed by the British Midlands Development Agency, representing both East and West Midlands regions in the UK to help shape the international marketing proposition to attract inward investment opportunities for the gaming sector.

British Midlands, UK, in an effort to design, develop and craft an international marketing proposition that will support the potential for inward investment projects from the international gaming sector.

The program combines the unique location services offerings from the West Midlands and East Midlands regions in the UK. With the imminent change in UK gaming license legislature, the regions are unveiling a new approach to potential international operators about the benefits of the region as a location for high quality casino operations. The program is designed to promote the complete suite of skills, services and people that USA based Casino operators can consider when searching for new UK locations as part of their international development plans. Whilst some operators are seeking joint ventures, partnerships or acquisition policies as a route to market, the British Midlands retains a strong interest of adding value to the customer experience in the casinos that could be located in their region through a tailor made program of support.

Trivirix continue European sales accleration with Simentra in 2004

Trivirix, a leading full service contract manufacturer specialising in the development, manufacture and support of complex electronic and electromechanical medical and life sciences equipment, appoint Simentra Life Sciences Unit for European campaign to attract new client companies to their international portfolio.

Trivirix, North Carolina in the USA to launch a new European campaign to attract international clients to avail of its specialist medical and life science contract manufacturing expertise.

The program is a unique initiative for companies to be introduced at senior level to the increasing diverse range of expertise that Trivirix have to offer. The company has a low cost assembly, directly attributed to their comprehensive value engineering, superior supply chain management and rigorous quality control. The European based program is designed to provide a complete suite of services for life and health sciences companies seeking to design, develop and contract manufacture complex medical equipment. The significant development of this sector in Europe attracted Trivirix to the Simentra Health Sciences Unit as a unique way to test the market.

CAST Technium appoints Simentra to develop market proposition and target international clientele

CAST Technium, a recent addition to the prestigious Welsh Development Agency Technium national incubator plan, have appointed Simentra to develop the marketing proposition for the centre and drive commercial interest in the venue both nationally and internationally.

Welsh Development Agency in the UK to support the growth and development of their Technium project through the most recent development at Parc Menai in Bangor for a Centre for Advanced Software Technology.

Welsh Development Agency's latest Technium project, the Centre for Advanced Software Technology or CAST Technium as it is known is based at Parc Menai, Bangor, Gwynedd, the development is expected to underpin the development of a global software cluster within North-West Wales. Like other developments within the Technium strategy, CAST will support start-up enterprises, existing companies with high growth potential and academic spin-out companies. Over £1.95 million of Objective 1 money is being invested into the project along with Welsh Assembly and WDA funding which will lead to the creation of more than 520 new jobs within the software sector.

Graham Hawker, Chief Executive of the WDA said, "The CAST Technium further cements Wales' - and particularly North Wales' - credibility in the software sector. It has strengths in the future growth area of distributed computing and particularly in visualisation/virtual reality, communications and networking, and systems modelling using distributed computing techniques."

"It will provide advanced software businesses with a range of vital support services and facilities, including incubator facilities, research and development projects, and consultancy and technology services."

eGoliBio,South Africa select Simentra to provide business support in the international market for tenant companies.

Simentra have recently been appointed as a select provider of business support and sales acceleration for the eGoliBIO technology incubator in Modderfontein, Guateng. The first campaigns will involve commercial assessment of technology applications in the international market.

Simentra were appointment by the eGoliBIO technology incubator in the province of Guateng, South Africa to complete initial studies on select tenant companies in relation to commercial exploitation of the concepts.

Officially launched on 6 February 2003 by the Deputy Minister of Arts, Culture, Science and Technology, eGoli BIO Life Sciences Incubator is a joint initiative between CSIR Bio/Chemtek, the Innovation Hub and AfricaBio with funding being provided through DST, the DTI and the EU through the GODISA Program.

This biotechnology incubator serves as a development conduit for the commercialisation of life sciences research, products, services and technology platforms. It seeks to attract and nurture the highest quality tenants in this niche area providing business infrastructure, strategic guidance, financial and legal advice creating an environment of learning and sharing in which information, experience and ideas are freely exchanged.

In addition, the incubator actively sources funding lines for individual tenants and/or projects and assists in the procurement and management of such funds. eGoli BIO has as one of its goals the creation of a critical mass of biotechnologists and biotechnology organizations to stimulate the economic development of the industry in South Africa.
